I joined the financial services industry in 1998, immediately after graduating from University with a First-class honours degree in Business Management Studies. Between 1998 – 2014 I worked in Corporate Strategy roles for three global banks and a local building society. Whilst working I also completed my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Warwick University Business School.
After the births of my two children, I took the decision to move away from corporate life and spent time exploring my passion for education and managing money by publishing a book ‘7 Steps to teaching your child to save; A parent's guide to raising financially independent children’. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of writing but quickly recognised that I needed to gain my professional qualifications in Regulated Financial Planning, in order to bring my technical knowledge up to date.
When I was approached by St. James's Place Wealth Management, I felt an instant connection to their values and ethics and knew I wanted to become a Partner Practice in order to give my clients the support I would receive.
I feel extremely grateful that my parents taught me how to manage my personal finances and I want to be in a position to help others to manage theirs so that they can spend more time doing the things they love.
